MsBehaviour Purple from the Paintbox
I have been on a quest to find the perfect purple hair dye for many years. A deep, luscious purple that is as near to permanent as possible. I've been a Fudge girl since the early 1990s, and thanks to Fudge New Zealand get to try out their whole Fudge Styling and Paintbox colour range.
I've been loving Purple Haze from the Fudge Paintbox for the past few years, but my beloved purple has been toned down to a more lilac shade in the new Fudge range just released. Paintbox colours now come in see through tubes, with three groovy new shades Pink Moon, Goldfinger and Vendetta Red.
A change of favourite hair colour can cause trauma. Luckily you can mix up your own custom Fudge colours. By adding the toner a Whiter Shade of Pale you can make more pastel shades that will look great with blonde hair. Or you can mix two darker colours for deeper shades, that usually take longer to wash out, especially if you bleach it to white first.
After a little experimentation I have come up with my very own Fudge shade, which I'm calling Ms. Behaviour Purple.
I got out my paintbrushes and a sheet of white paper, and after playing around with colour combinations I finally hit on my perfect purple hair dye formula:
Remember if you're mixing your own custom hair colour then always mix up more than you'll need. Keep it in a sealed container and then use it for hairline and root touch ups.
I find that the Noughties Fudge formula is much longer lasting than their 1990's colour range, and you can mix a squirt of colour with some kick ass Fudge Dynamite Conditioning every 2-3 weeks to keep your colour looking vivid.
You can find Fudge Paintbox colours stocked in hair salons in most major New Zealand malls. Otherwise call 0800 456 426 to find a Fudge stockist in your area or check out www.fudge.com.
